How to Make Deep Fried Twinkies
How to Make Deep Fried Twinkies
Deep fried Twinkies are Twinkies coated in batter and then deep fried. The batter gives it a nice crispy shell. The inside is soft, moist and warm. Deep Fried Twinkies are a food favorite at county fairs and carnivals across the United States. Fried Twinkies are delicious but they are very fattening. One deep fried Twinkie has about 425 calories and 28 grams of fat, and that doesn't include the calories from the topping. Eating too many of these is enough to send you in cardiac arrest. However, I've never heard of anyone dying from eating too many fried Twinkies. If you're not counting calories or mind eating massive amounts of fat, then try this easy recipe for making Deep Fried Twinkies at home that are just as delicious as the ones you see at the fair.
